Practice the hard moments
Rehearse the moments that matter most, as many times as it takes. No client is on the line, so a miss costs nothing.
Get specific feedback
After each try, see what landed and what to try differently next time.
Keep improving
Track where you're getting stronger and what to work on next.
Who's behind it
We came at this from two sides, years in the therapy room and years building products.
Amy Provan, PsyD
From the therapy room
I'm a clinical psychologist, and I've spent my career in the therapy room. For years I ran university counseling centers, covering everything from crisis care to individual and group therapy, and trained doctoral students along the way.
These days I have a private practice where I work a lot with distant couples, and EFT is at the heart of that work. Training new therapists taught me how much skill comes from practice and honest feedback. That's what I want PracticeSession to give every therapist.
Rob Jacobson
From building products
I've spent my career building technology products and the companies around them, mostly in e-commerce, with stops in professional services and utilities. I've led software teams and wired together complex hardware and software systems.
Finding the problem that's actually in the way, and solving it, is what I love most. Here, my job is to take what Amy knows works in the room and turn it into something you can practice with every week.
